Total Joint Replacement

Joint replacement surgery involves the surgical replacement of arthritic or diseased  bone or joint surfaces with implants which will restore joint function,  reduce or eliminate pain, and allow a return to normal activities.

Surgical replacement of the arthritic joint may be the next step for the hip or knee which has not responded to conservative measures including physical therapy, activity modification, anti-inflammatories , and injections.

Dr. Rodrigue has specialized training in adult hip and knee replacement surgery and complex revisions. He is also one of the few surgeons that perform the minimally invasive (MIS) joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee. The majority of his MIS total hip replacement patients are able to go home the following day (24 hour hip replacement). The MIS knee replacement includes total knee replacement as well as the “quick recovery” partial knee replacement.  These innovative and advanced surgical techniques result in less pain, a shorter hospitalization, and a faster return to work and activities.
