Sarah B Shubert, MD grew up in Bangor, Maine. After graduating from Yale University, she completed her medical school and residency training at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. She received fellowship training in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine and was Assistant Team Physician for the San Diego Padres (MLB), the UCSD athletic teams, the San Diego State football team, and provided care for the US Women's Soccer Team. Dr. Shubert served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Texas Tech School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery.
She is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She has been an instructor in arthroscopy at several national courses and has had multiple publications and national presentations.
Dr. Shubert has special interest and training in the care of sports injuries, reverse total shoulder replacement surgery and minimally invasive techniques, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and knee arthroscopy.
Dr. Shubert and her family reside in Falmouth, Maine.
